In the western states like Colorado and Utah, a snowboarder will find his paradise in the fluffy powder-coated Rocky Mountains. Some of the best snow falls in the Rocky Mountain range, which helps to make conditions for any snowboarder more than ideal. Colorado is home to more than a few of the best mountain resorts in the country; places where even the professionals turn to for practice on a regular basis. Telluride, located in southern Colorado is nestled in the San Juan mountain range, and is notorious for heavy snow and great conditions. Vail is yet another mountain resort that brings in visitors from all over the world and has even hosted several professional competitions. In the state of Utah, Park City draws the most attention, as it is one of the biggest mountain resorts in the country covering more than a few peaks.

Although, Todd Hotaling lives on the eastern side of the country, he enjoys traveling out west to snowboard in some o the best snow the United States has to offer snowboarders and skiers alike; he enjoys snowboarding whenever he gets the chance.
